Possible rumor(?), Shia and director John Hillcoat both interested in bad cops/fall guy film Triple Nine, here’s a little of what The Wrap had to say:
The story concerns a group of crooked cops planning a major heist who realize they must shoot one of their own in order to get away with it. The lead character is an upstanding young officer who they choose as their victim.
999 is the police code indicating that an officer needs immediate assistance.
WME is packaging “Triple Nine,” and a separate individual has told TheWrap that Warner Bros. is in talks to pick up the project. -
NOTE: Take this with a grain of salt, as The Wrap continually claims sources as ‘an individual’ or ‘individuals’ and never says who. This is possibly a rumor. If anyone can confirm this, we’d love to see it so we can let our visitors know!

Some Indiana Jones 5 news from Shia via JoBlo, apparently they’re not only already writing the script but it’s been pitched to Shia by Steven Spielberg (Yay, near certainty of Mutt making at least an appearance in the next film!) – here’s what he had to say:
“I got called into Steven’s office and he pitched a little bit to me and it sounds crazy, it sounds really cool.”

As you may have noticed, awhile ago I also added 5 MQ photos of Shia at the The Greatest Game Ever Played Dallas Photocall on September 16, 2005:

Great photo of Shia with Transformers co-star Tyrese Gibson that Tyrese posted to his twitter yesterday. I’ve gotten a lot of emails lately about posting set photos, and I’m sorry this site doesn’t post set photos due to the vast majority being paparazzi and our staff not being able to tell the difference most of the time (better to error on the safe side, right?) but this one is an official photo by one of the stars of the film:

There’s no real official word from Shia’s reps (and until he confirms being approached, take this to be possible hearsay) as far as I know, but according to Collider, Summit Entertainment (the same studio that produces the Twilight films) would love to cast him along side other possible lead Brad Pitt in their upcoming whodunnit entitled Riptide – here’s what they had to say:
The talks are in early stages, and there’s no guarantee that Pitt and LaBeouf will accept their offers. But it would be an interesting (and very marketable) pairing, to be sure. I would think that Summit is looking at Pitt for the investigator role, while LaBeouf is prepped to portray a young stock broker after his Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps gig.
