Just a bit late posting this (spent the day tweaking the theme), but we’ve got a brand new hand coded theme here! We tried to increase our functionality and give our content more room to ‘breathe’ – we hope you like it!

Not exactly what I’d call valid sources (twitter, for one) but this was sent in by one of our twitter followers – it seems that Kid Cudi’s short film “Maniac” needed a director, and Cage (Chris Palko) hooked him up with Shia – here’s what Rap-Up.com had to say:

Rapper Cage, who appears on the track with St. Vincent, reached out to his friend Shia LaBeouf to direct the clip, which he tweeted about earlier today. The Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps actor previously directed Cage’s video for “I Never Knew You.”

“Yes this is happening!” wrote Cage, while “Day ‘N’ Nite” producer Dot Da Genius tweeted “side project, we do what we want,” along with a picture of the rapper holding a folder for the treatment.
