Added 1 HQ and 1 MQ photo shoot to the Gallery today – pardon my absence from SLO, currently the staff is on hiatus for the holidays and I’m alone but I’ve been sick and working most of the time.

I’m considering ‘hiring’ some fresh staff just for the winter months, and starting up my old habit of one new album in the Gallery every day if I can help it – what do you guys think?:

As our regulars already know, we’ve spent the last two weeks working on SLO and using the time when real Shia news is scarce. The new theme is finished, as you can see, and the style of it is unique to SLO. Our Gallery is also getting a revamp, as well as the Video Archive.

The sidebar was getting cramped with so much information on it, so we had to whittle down it’s length a bit and it looks a lot better. We hope you like the new theme as much as we do!

Giant robots ruled the box office over the weekend, and started transforming Hollywood’s record books in the process.

Paramount’s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” showed there was more than meets the critics’ eyes by earning $112 million over the weekend. The movie, starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox as the token humans, grossed a whopping $201.2 million in the five days since its opening.

It’s the biggest five-day in history after “The Dark Knight’s $203.8 million last year. That movie went on to gross $533.3 million, making it the second highest-grossing movie of all time.

Flyby Gallery update of one UHQ photo of Shia at the Indy 4 Press Conference at Cannes on May 18, 2008:

I’m in the middle of a revamp here, and trying to convert the rest of the site to WordPress (at the moment only the updates page is using WordPress) and getting a new layout up. I’m halting my search for staff, I’ve gotten a lot of great responses but I still have to weed through them all. However, if you still really feel like you’d like a chance to contribute, you can still contact me via the contact Page.

I’m not sure how I did it (I blame my current work situation and lack of time or mental faculties, lol) but I managed to forget to rip the deleted scenes from my Eagle Eye DVD’s! Well, obviously I have to face the facts that while Natalie is lacking internet access, I’m going to have to suck it up and start hiring staff members.

I’ll be starting out with hiring two staffers – a media person (videos, graphics, icons, etc.) and a news journalist to help me keep on top of this site. The only requirements are:

1. Scripts: You should be able to use WordPress (I can teach you if you need it) since it’s the platform with which you’ll be making your updates. Coppermine and several other scripts are used, but if you’re not working in those sections than ability to use those scripts is just a bonus.

2. Frequency: You MUST make time at least one day a week to make an update (daily is better, but I only require that from myself). News, articles, images – anything you want to update with, even if it’s not necessarily your job.

3. No Paparazzi: All journalists ar asked to please keep their updates ‘clean’. When I say clean I mean free from paparazzi. This isn’t just video, not just images. Paparazzi includes rumors about Shia’s personal life, who he’s dating or not dating, paparazzi and personal photographs, etc. – even if it didn’t obviously upset him, it’s just not kosher and we don’t want it here on SLO out of respect.
